The increasing frequency of medical repricing in the takaful industry in Malaysia presents significant challenges for takaful operators and participants. Repricing can lead to higher contributions, participant dissatisfaction, and potential lapses in coverage. This paper examines the role of accountability among healthcare providers and participants in contributing to more stable and predictable prices in the Malaysian medical and health takaful sector. This research methodology uses qualitative methods with literature and documentation study techniques. The research data were obtained from secondary data sources, based on literature studies, and analyzed both descriptively and qualitatively. The study's results found that accountability among health providers and takaful participants is important in securing sustainable access to medical and health takaful protection. Healthcare providers' goals need to be balanced between sales-driven and value-driven. Therefore, appropriate legal methods need to be implemented in addition to raising awareness and providing education to health providers and takaful participants.
